Happy first father’s day, babe.
I knew before Emma arrived that you would be wrapped around her little finger and here she is, 5.5 months old and you are smitten!
I’ll never forget the sound of your voice when you first laid eyes on her. Never mind the fact I was laying on the operating table still panicking over getting sliced open, but I digress. The sound of the joy in your voice will never be forgotten. Those early days, the exhaustion on your face paired well with the tenderness of your care.
Every day since December 28th has been spent watching Emma grow or working through our own growth as parents and partners. You still don’t snap up all her snaps after a diaper change and I’ll never know why, but you do a lot of really awesome, sweet things for us both.
Emma is spoiled with her Daddy’s love, and I’m spoiled watching my dream come true.
